On April 12.2018 the Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation awarded $48,424 in Community Grants to 39 area non-profit organizations who are working to improve the lives of our members in Brunswick and Columbus counties. The Community Grants program is funded by the proceeds from our equipment auction at the annual membership meeting each year. Since the program began in 2003, more than $500,000 has been given back to our communities. Thank You to Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation and it's Board of Directors for awarding the SBIC Food Pantry with a $1000 grant.

A great number of families in our communities will face hunger this season. To help meet their needs, The SBIC hosts several fund raising events in our community and nearby communities. We hope that everyone will participate and can make significant contributions of food, money, or time to benefit local food banks. To make this goal a reality, we need your help!
Our foundation has undertaken a drive to spread social awareness among the society that each & every adult and child get their basic nutrition. Our initiative can only be sustained with the help of volunteers, who will be ready to spare some free time for this cause.
I appeal to all who can volunteer to come forward and help us in our cause. The task is indeed very hard but hard work always pays off. I appreciate you gave your valuable time to read this letter and hope that there will be positive response from your side.

Thank you for your support.
